April 16 - May 31
We are happy to present Natasha Frisch at the Gallery in a Shoebox. Her work focuses on the overlooked objects and situations of everyday life. She recreates these objects with tracing paper, adding a ghostlike quality to her subjects. Her work is precise and delicate.
Inside the Gallery space, she has recreated the grid patterns of the joints that make up concrete pavements and ceramic tiles. The grids intersect the exhibition space at various heights and angles.
Visitors leave the exhibition with a feeling that the ordinary is less ordinary.
