When Guðrún Einarsdóttir was eight years old, she found out that her native country used to be full of trees. Years of heavy deforestation and subsequent erosion, made it difficult for the trees to grow back. At that very moment, she decided to climb every species of trees in the world. From Dogwood to Redwood. At the age of 35 she finished her quest. Now, she dedicates her life to save the forests of the world.

This evening Einarsdóttir will talk about the trees in her life, her work and the best way to climb to the top of a Giant Oak.
